How it plays

• Men move one square diagonally forward and capture by jumping. If you can capture, you must.
• A capturing piece keeps jumping while it can; reaching the far row crowns it a king, which also moves backward.
• No legal move loses. Forty moves each without a capture or a crowning is a draw.
